How to keep your commitments in 2022
We all say we want things and then don’t do the work required to get there. But why?
1. There’s a subconscious reason you actually DON’T want it. Part of you is worried about the negative consequences to what you say you want. Usually it’s a fear of judgement of some kind. Write down all the negatives that could happen if you succeed. Go through them one by one and write out the truth – will this really happen? And then what?
2. Your vision isn’t as powerful as your excuses. It’s more comfortable to stay in the known than to venture to the unknown. If you don’t do the work and just stay comfortable, it’s familiar and cosy. Know that all the best things happen outside of your comfort zone.
